I know that I don't have any students yet so I will just go ahead and post the first part of lesson 1.
We will be learning greetings first such as ways to greet someone by saying hello. (for those who have not signed up yet, as soon as you sign up, your homework timer will start. You have one month to complete it before it is late) Smile

GREETINGS:
Hola --> Hello
buenos días--> Good Morning
adiós --> Goodbye
buenas tardes --> Good Afternoon
buenas noches --> Good Night

Those are all the possible ways to greet someone.
Homework:
Write a short story paragraph using at least 2 or 3 of these words. It does not have to be long but make it long enough where it makes sense. Make it as long as you want just as long as there are 2-3 words being used in the paragraph.

I would like to order sailsbury steak and mash potatoes and gravy,for drink orange soda.",says Karen I would like chili cheese fries and milk.",says Mary
"Alright order coming up.", Jill tell them.I decided im finally going to go to college.",implied Mary.
"Thats great what finally made you decided to go?"asks Karen
"My mom told me she didnt get to go to college cause she had me,my mom is always there for me I want to do something for her in return im going to go to college for her I want to make her
happy.",retort Mary
as the waitress puts their food on the table the girls eat their food
"Thats wonderful,im proud of you.That smile on your mom face that smile is never going to off.",grated Karen
Mary Smiles because of of what Karen said
The girls finish eating and Karen pays for the food

Alright, here is lesson 2. Colors! Some may be hard to pronounce so I will give you the pronunciation as well. Here they are.

Lesson 2: Colors!

Black: To say Black in Spanish we say "Negro". pronounced : "Neg-ro"

Pink: To say pink in Spanish, we say " rosado ". Pronounced: " 'ro-sad-'o ".
Blue: To say blue in Spanish, we say " asul ". Pronounced: " 'ah-'sool".
Purple: To say purple in Spanish, we say " morado ". Pronounced: " moh-'rah-do ".
Brown: To say brown in Spanish, we say " marrón ". Pronounced: " mah-rrón ".
Red: To say red in Spanish, we say " rojo ". Pronounced: " 'ro-ho ".
Gray: To say gray in Spanish, we say " 'gris ". Pronounced: " grees ". It sounds like " grease ".

White: To say white in Spanish, we say " blanco ". Pronounced: " 'blan-co ".
Green: To say green in Spanish, we say " verde ". Pronounced: " 'ber-de ". Yes, it is " 'ber-de " not " ver-de ", we pronounce " verde " with a " b ".
Yellow: To say yellow in spanish, we say " amarillo ". Pronounced: " 'a-'mar-'ee-'yo".
Orange: To say orange in spanish, we say " anaranjado ". Pronounced: " ah-nah-ran-'ha-do " The Spanish word for the orange fruit and the orange color are different which we'll be tackling on the future lessons.

Homework:
After you practice memorizing these words, answer the questions below!

1.) Do you find it easy?
2.) Did you memorize all of them?
3.) What is the Spanish word and pronunciation of the color Green?
4.) What is the Spanish word for the color Brown?

***Some of these words will be included on the final exam for these lessons. I hope the bright colors don't bother you. It is supposed to be a helpful study tool so that you would know what they look like. Thank you!***

2.did you memorize all of them? yes
3.whats is the spainsh word and pronunciation of the color green verde produnciarion berde
4.what is the spanish word for brown marron
