Broken Chosen One

this is a harry potter fanfic I wrote

5th Year at Hogwarts

Harry James Potter looked at Hermione and waved. The bushy haired girl waved back. "So, 'Mione..." The emerald eyed boy began, before a certain red head interupted him. "Hi guys, so, Harry, im sorry to say but for Winter Break, you'll have to go back to the Dursleys'.." Ron sighed. "Wait..what?! Why?! I cant go back so early!" Harry yelled.

"You have to, Harry."

For the record, I am not a big Harry Potter fan. Although, this is really good. Short. But good.
My parents and a friend of mine at school, love HP. I am just left out in the cold with my own weird interests. Oh well, it is my life. XD Good job Steph!

Harry wasn't at all happy about going to the Dursleys'. "They will just break me.." He muttered to himself, remembering the terrible beating he got for messing up their breakfast when he was 9. "..im fine." He tried to convince himself. But then he broke into crying.
Im a freak, a worthless, good for nothing, freak He thought to himself. He began to break.

It was time to wake up, and Harry did. Ron had gotten dressed and ran to breakfast, so did the other inhabitants of the dorm for the 5th years. Harry, however, only got dressed. He didn't bother going to breakfast, after all, freaks didn't deserve food or care.

Hermione was worried, very worried. Ron, didn't pay any attention, he thought Harry was just a little late.

Severus Tobias Snape, was a different story. The Potions master thought that the boy in question finally came to the conclusion that he was better and the students didn't deserve to be in his presence, oh how wrong he was.

It was double potions first, hooray, see that sarcasm? Anyways, The golden trio walk to the class, Harry just a little slower. Ron walking quickly, and Hermione making sure Harry was alright.

It was Christmas Break, and how was Harry to get over this? There was no way! The Dursleys had him doing everything, nothing was alright.

Harry walked outside and nearly jumped out of his skin at the sight of Nymphadora Tonks.

"Tonks!" He said, his voice was hoarse from barely being used. "Wotcher, Harry!" Tonks looked a bit worried as she studied Harry, he was much too skinny for his own good. That couldn't be from the Potter genes...

"Harry..ah..why are you so skinny?" Tonks asked Harry worriedly. "Er, uh, no reason, Tonks." Harry replied instantly. "Harry, tell me the truth."
"Why should I?"
"Because I want you to."
"Fine."
"Seriously?"
"Yes, seriously. I, well, i'm starved here."
"WAIT WHAT?!?" Tonks yelled, purple hair turning red..

The Dursleys came outside.

"BOY!" Vernon roared and Harry flinched back. Tonks took out her wand. "Don't hurt my godson!" Tonks was Harry's godmother. James and Lily had believed, that when she grew older, she and Sirius would take care of their son, but sadly, it was not to be. Petunia looked at the scene with disgust and yelled, "Freaks! In my backyard!"

Dudley, to put it casually, walked off.

Harry had ran for his life because, well, to get out alive, you had to run for your life.


Tonks sprinted after him, her worst fear confirmed. She actually was quite surprised that Harry hadn't gone dark or lost his sanity. To put it out there for once and for all the years to come, she'd stay by his side no matter what happened.

Harry had already tried to hurt someone because they wouldn't get out of the way.

Soon, they were in the woods.

Harry hid behind a tree. A cold smile took his face over. That person should be glad, Harry hadn't used his worst. He realized he wasn't breaking, he was just a bit bad. There was nothing wrong with that. Right? Right.

Tonks found him. "Harry...my godson!" She said, relieved. "Tonks, is there anything wrong with being a little bad?" Harry asked suddenly. "No, not really.." Tonks awnsered nervously. "Alright.." Harry needed to think.

After Christmas Break

Harry sighed, Ron and Hermione didn't sit in the same compartment as him. "Darn.."
